 Труды читая 

Старины седой,

Не раз я в 

Ступор попадал.

- "Нечаянно он град забрал"

- Что автор этим мне сказал?

- Ну, "град", понятно,

- Это город.

- А как "нечаянно" возможно?

- Абсурд? - Абсурд!

- У нас "нечаянно" равно "случайно"

- "По мимо воли", "не хотя".

- Ужели, город сам отдался

- Помимо воли своего врага

- Ему на шею навязался

- "Возьми скорее Ты меня"?

Ан, не спеши

Ты автора винить

- Ошибки нету

Ни-ка-кой!

- "Нечаянно" в те времена

Сродни "внезапности" было.

- И город пал коварством поражён,

- Не изготовив обороны.

- Иль, вот, возьми "наверное"

- Сейчас - "быть может да, а может нет"

- "Как карта ляжет", "будет ли желанье"

- И много что ещё заключено.

- А раньше - вернее верного

Не дать уж обещанья

- "Не зыблемо" и "на века"

- Вот, что оно обозначало.

Читая древни письмена,

Вы не забудьте, для начала,

Значенья слов

Их всех познать.

Тогда спадет туман времён,

Открыв все чувства, тайны

- Яснее ясного тогда

Предстанут и грядущего века.

Old gray,

More than once I 'm in 

Stupor fell.

- "He accidentally took the hail"

- What did the author say to me with this?

- Well, "grad", is it clear,

- It's a city.

- And how is "accidentally" possible?

- Absurd? - Absurd!

- With us, "accidentally" is equal to "accidentally"

- "By will", "not though".

- Really, the city gave itself up

- Against the will of his enemy

- He forced himself on his neck

- "Will You take me soon"?

Ahn, take your time

You blame the author

- There is no mistake

No way!

- "Accidentally" in those days

It was akin to "suddenness".

- And the city fell by treachery struck,

- Without having prepared a defense.

- Or, here, take "probably"

- Now - "maybe yes, maybe no"

- "How the card will fall", "will there be a wish"

- And many other things are concluded.

- And earlier - or rather true

Not to make a promise

- "It is not stable" and "for the ages"

- That's what it meant.

Reading ancient writings,

Don't forget, for starters,

Meanings of words

To know them all.

Then the fog of time will subside,

Having discovered all the feelings, secrets

- Clearer than clear then

They will appear in the coming century.
