Как Величие Заслуг Своих
Он объявляет невпопад,
Надеясь на почтенье, поклоненье
И думая, что его непогрешимо мненье,
При этом глупость предъявляя
- Забыв, что Богом званье
Лишь одно дано
- Одно на целый век
- Ты Человек!
И, значит, не безгрешен ты,
И лишь Поступки и Дела
Тебя означат
- Потомки добрым словом помянут
Иль на века вон проклянут,
Или не вспомнят даже.
Порой сапожник гвоздик малый
Забьёт в каблук
- И этим счастье миру предъявит,
Не требуя признанья,
Регалии, наград и званья.
Пекарь хлеб печёт,
А дворник мусор уберёт
- Не перечесть их всех
И дел их всех не счесть.
А если кто из них
Не выполнит работу,
То сразу грустно - то-то.
Регалии, награды, званья
- Услада Вам.
- Но судят Вас лишь по делам.
Так стоит ли о них трубить
И пред собою волочить?

As The Greatness Of Their Merits
He announces out of place,
Hoping for reverence, worship
And thinking that his opinion is infallible,
At the same time , the stupidity of presenting
- - Forgetting that God is the title
Only one thing is given
- One for a whole century
- You're A Man!
And, therefore, you are not sinless,
And only Deeds and Deeds
You means
- Descendants will remember with a kind word
Or will they curse you for centuries,
Or they won't even remember.
Sometimes the shoemaker is a small carnation
Will score in the heel
- And this will bring happiness to the world,
Without requiring recognition,
regalia, awards and titles.
The baker bakes bread,
And the janitor will clean up the garbage
- Can't count them all
And there are countless cases of them all.
And if one of them
Will not do the job,
It's immediately sad - that's what.
Regalia, awards, titles
- Pleasure to you.
- But you are judged only by deeds.
So is it worth trumpeting about them
And drag it before him?
